Hi, I'm Deaney!
I'm a mama of one little girl named Sofi and I love watching Korean dramas and eating Asian food.

I have a degree in Industrial design from the University of the Philippines-Diliman and years of experience as an exhibition and display designer and event marketer. Hence, most of the time, you will find me obsessing with my booth layout and display in artisan/ craft markets.
​
Armed with my background in design, I also am a little bit obsessed with designing and making all things that I make myself. I design all the templates in my shop, and I make the flower walls I set up at events and store displays. I love to create custom creations.
​
I am currently based out of Rochester, NY alongside my daughter, husband, and our chunky 40lb corgi named after a renowned Russian chess player, Kasparov.
The story behind Deaney Weaney Blooms
Deaney founded DWB in 2017 right after she got married. She fell in love with paper flowers after she created a bunch for her own wedding. Realizing crafters were willing to purchase her digital designs that can be used with cutting machines such as Cricut, she started her Etsy store with digital paper flower templates in 2017.

By the end of 2020, a couple of months into the Covid-19 pandemic, she started to offer Paper flower backdrop rental in the triad area of North Carolina, coz even if she's a true-blooded introvert, the isolation from the pandemic has burned most of her sanity and she needed a human connection, apart from Sofi and her husband, that is.
​
Then just 2 months into her networking effort in North Carolina, her sweet husband surprised her with the news that they were going to leave NC and move to the very cold city of Rochester, New York.
If there's one word that you can use to describe Deaney, it's hard-headed. I mean resilient! She mopped a little, moved on, and started to work her way in establishing herself in Rochester, New York.

Apart from digital templates and online workshops, Deaney Weaney Blooms offer metal die-cut templates, paper flower pots, stationery, earrings, and a lot more. DWB also offers paper flower backdrop rental in the Rochester and Western New York area.
